I am shooting on film and I am amazed with the quality of colour and the softness of the photographic 'fabric'. The richness of tones and the way the colours blends with each other is spectacular.
I focus not just on objects and materials but what is between them, something I was paying attention to for a long time but considered a separate subject - the ephemeral evidence of the presence of objects which manifest in the shadows and reflections which they cast on each other or on the nearby surfaces.
Those constantly changing gradients created by lights and shadows are very ephemeral and dynamic phenomenons but on the photographs they gain the weight and structure of the form.
The reason I decided to create some analogue works is based on the method of capturing the geometric pattern (moire) which I'd like to adapt to the analogue images to obtain the fusion of the physical and virtual.
