FMP - FINE ART MATHS CENTRE

http://maths.myblog.arts.ac.uk/

I found this blog yesterday. Brilliant. Read couple of posts and love it although can only grasp a bits from the subjects author is writing about. I’ll look there for some short courses post-MA.

I was again researching the algorithmic trees as I did not give up yet with this motive in my works, even though I already spend quite a lot of time on it - some results below. I’d like to try to create the photograms/luminograms reflecting these algorithmic structures of the tree. It is a nice symbol of the presence of numbers in nature and another instance of the offshoots forms. I want to show the co-presence of the physical matter and the absolute rules of nature visualised in a pure form by algorithms. I have to think how to loose the trivial feel of the algorithmic tree I created with the water transfer, I don’t want a pretty aquarelle landscape feel.
